The Slain Of The LORD
Shared by Suzin McNeill
Never have I
had a vision with such a heavy burden.
It is written
in tears for the slain of The LORD.
Oh, that my
words were now written! oh that they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever! For I
know that my Redeemer liveth, and that HE shall stand at the
latter day upon the earth: Job 19:23-25 Be ye afraid of the sword: for
wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a
judgment. Job 19:29
a handmaiden's note ~
Last week I had the following vision experience. I found myself standing in the back of a small church. I could smell a
slight scent of mustiness from the age of the wood floors and the time
worn pews, in the church. I knew this church. It was not foreign to me, I
had been there, before. I looked towards the front pulpit, and towards
the altar. I saw bodies, emaciated bodies like the pictures from the
holocaust, piled up near the piano, and at the altar. The bodies looked
frail, starved, and unkempt. They were thrown together in piles. Spindly
arms and legs were sticking out of the pile of bodies, which created what
looked like a bizarre, interwoven human fence. It was a sight that I
will never forget. It was the kind of scene that you wish you never saw,
because of the terribleness of it. It was the kind of scene that stamped
itself forever, within the memory because of it's devastation to humanity.
The pastor, and two ladies came through the
side door of the church. As the side door of the church opened , I
looked outside and saw heaps of bodies piled up, like a twisted human fence,
as far as I could see. The preacher began to mechanically go through
praying short prayers over each body as he touched them. The two women
were crying, sobbing, and moaning in their sorrow. I thought, there is
no way that they can touch each one and pray over them. I knew that it
was an act of absolute futility to to even try and pray for each one. I asked
myself, why don't they just bless each group? There was no way, all the
bodies could be brought into the church, to be blessed and cared for,
before their burial. This was a holocaust type scene, where the devastation
was evident everywhere I could see.
I heard HIS voice behind me, saying, " the slain of The LORD,
will be many." Then, I heard HIM saying, "My eye will
not pity, and My hand will not spare. The slain of The LORD, will be
many." HE caused me to examine the piles more closely. There were famous
people that I had seen in ministry there, in the piles of human bodies.
There were people that I recognized from the neighborhood. There were
merchants from the local stores where I shopped, woven into the human
fence. There were
teachers, who had taught at my child's school.
There were politicians, and lawyers, in the piles of dead bodies. Not one,
was dressed better than the other. They all wore torn, dirty rags for
clothing. They all looked the same, starved, and dirty. Their masked faces
of pain, told their tales of suffering. Their beaten skeletal bodies, were
their only monuments of verification, that they had once lived. The
slain of The LORD, will be many.
My heart cried for three days, after this
vision. I would begin to pray, and all that came from me was groaning and tears.
I would start to write this vision down, and tears poured from my eyes,
and my soul, onto the paper. Today, my eyes are sore-chapped, and I testify
of that which I have seen. It is time to watch and pray, time to pray and
watch.
This vision/ experience kept coming back to me throughout the the
week. I have not asked The LORD for any further
meaning, or for the interpretation, because of the burden of solidly knowing
within my heart. The Day of The LORD is before us, all. It is
time for the "bride of Christ" to prepare herself to go and to stand before The Holy One
of Israel.
THE SLAIN
OF THE LORD
WILL BE MANY
In the power name, JESUS, I pray, FATHER, be merciful unto Your people,
Israel and spare
us, from Your judgments. Holy Spirit come and chasten us, reprove
us, correct us, and prepare us to stand before our KING, JESUS.
Forgive us, all in the power name, JESUS. Amen. 6-7-90
It is time
like never before to watch and pray
and to
pray and watch.
In the power name
...JESUS,
may you have eyes
that see,
ears that hear,
and a heart
of love for The LORD.
To know HIM, is
to love HIM.
If you love HIM,
you will obey HIM.
Obedience is the
gift of love.
He that has an
ear let him hear: It is time to watch and pray, and time to pray and
watch. When The LORD gives
someone more meaning to this vision, please, share it with me.
