Because of you, I have a savior. Because of you, my sins are
forgiven. You took on the cross and chose to be crucified, beat,
mocked, spat on, hated for me. You knew humanity would be messy. You
knew we would mess up over and over again but you still love us
beyond measure. You are my healer, in every aspect. You pursued me
when I was far from you and you pursue me still today. The greatest
day of my life was when I surrendered my all to you. I laid down my
brokenness and fell into a love strong enough to not only save but
make me righteous in your sight. You opened my eyes to the most
beautiful relationship I will ever know and my joy will always be
found in that. Because of you, I have found joy, unlike any joy I had
before you. Because of you, I have strength in the trials that I
would never have, without you. Because of you, I have peace that
surpasses understanding. It is my honor to spend the rest of my life
praising and loving you in return, King of Kings. I don't deserve it
but you have blessed me and continue to each day because you love me.
Simplicity, how beautiful it is. Thank you for the cross. Thank you
for arms wide open for every soul in need. You are good and faithful
forever. I could never tell you enough and until the day I get to
tell you face to face. Thank you, Jesus.
He set me free
Having a relationship with the Lord doesn't prevent hardship in this
life. He is the rock, the helper, the fighter for you when they do come.
So many people forget that each person on earth, is simply human. Each
person on earth, at some point, will battle trials of many kinds and
will far too often, battle them alone. Each person carries the weight
differently. Judging a person's mental health based on their outward
expressions or behavior is impossible. Far too often, those that "have
it all together" are actually falling apart... It's so important to
remember how fragile life is and just how easy depression can take over.
Be someone that cares about every person that crosses your path. Pray
for those around you. Offer your time, to listen. Check in. Reach out.
Be genuine about loving each other.
Beauty for Ashes, Is Holiness!
To
appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for
ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit
of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the
planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.
Divine Lordship is not a threat; rather it’s the
place of greatest safety.
